This was for the worst Sayuri thought. She had embarassed him in front of everyone and now she was going to pay the price. But instead of a strike in her delicate cheeks as she was expecting she feels Ryu's hands coil around her like a snake chaining her. As she looks up Ryu adjusts her to sit her on his lap and declares.

"This is my wife, your sister in law. Pay respect."

With that one command all the man bowed, leaving Sayuri baffled. She looks back at her husband with uncertainty. And he returns her gaze with his sharp one.

Sayuri couldn't even speak as she had no words.
